    Flexibility, Capacity & Expanded Menu

The Panther Fusion module lets you consolidate testing. It increases your walkaway time, enhances flexibility and allows you to run laboratory-developed tests. It gives you the power to run real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR), transcription-mediated amplification (TMA) and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-TMA) assays on a single, fully automated platform.1

    Value for Your Lab

Assay consolidation using the Panther Fusion platform saves you time and reduces costs. If you are looking to do more with less, assay consolidation is the direction to go and this is the platform that will get you there.

    Labour Saving¹

Up to 32 assay reagent kits on board, allowing assay consolidation on a single platform.

Ready-to-use reagent cartridges reduce manual preparation and operator errors.

Sample throughput of up to 500 tests in 8 hours increases test volume during a shift without the need for more staff.

    Time Saving¹

Open accessTM functionality provides full automation to run laboratory-developed tests with in vitro diagnostics (IVDs).

Time-to-first result at 2.4 hours allows sooner release of patient results, improving turnaround time.

Add on additional IVD menu without disrupting workflow.

    Cost Saving¹

In-lab upgrade increases test volumes, throughput and menu without replacing equipment or infrastructure.

Run up to 3 PCR reactions from a single (360μL) patient extraction, reducing extraction time and costs.

60-day onboard stability of reagents and fluids minimises reagent waste for better cost management.

Simplify & Scale the Future of Diagnostics

The Panther Fusion System is part of the Hologic Molecular Scalable Solution, a portfolio combining a broad, high performing assay menu with high throughput automation. Designed to flexibly scale to meet your needs, from a single patient result to population level screening.

What Consolidation Looks Like in Practice

A workflow study conducted by the University of Wisconsin2 tested the ability to consolidate and run 5 Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) plus 7 IVDs on the Panther Fusion with just one FTE, in one working day.
