Too many women struggle to receive a diagnosis and appropriate treatment for heavy menstrual bleeding. This report looks at placing women at the heart of clinical decisions to streamline pathways.

Every day, across the country, women and girls struggle to manage menstrual health conditions that impact their ability to study, work, manage family life and enjoy leisure activities. And yet, many of these conditions remain hidden; taboo subjects rarely discussed, with women expected to ‘just get on with it’. Heavy menstrual bleeding (known as menorrhagia) is no exception. It is time we take action to create change.

The right patients. The right setting. The right clinicians.
